im not fond of the middle triangle button but im sure i can map it to something else. i wanted to ask how you're liking the xai laser after all these months. i bought this razer imperator yesterday and its fairly close, but no cigar. I have your same "problem" right now (and for the last 3 years really) in trying to find a replacement for my intellimouse optical. Hey ElGuido! BOY am I glad to find you haha. This is more of a sketch of points that I can think of than a review, but please let me know if you have any questions and I'll try and answer them here. I think anyone looking to go laser from the 1.1 should consider this mouse. The physical profile is virtually identical to that of the intellimouse.ĭue to having a pair of buttons on each side of mouse I don't think i can accurately use both the right hand side buttons, but happy to do a duplicate binding. Options are a little daunting at first, and I did think the out of the box settings were a bit low for the desktop.įits well in my hand, using palm grip as before. In fact I love it's touch over that of the intellimouse. The wheel is maybe a little clunky when rolling compared to the intellimouse and I think it's missing wheel acceleration. I currently I missing intellipoint as I had double click bound to my wheel button, which does not appear to be an option in the Xai s/w.Īnother feature omission from the s/w is that intellipoint allows you to alter your mouse bindings on a per game basis, which can be handy. I haven't had time to game on it yet, but I am quite liking it for desktop usage.
